Our annual scavenger hunt is back! On August 9, 2026, get ready to explore the city like never before. Bring your friends, your energy, and your detective skills for a thrilling adventure through Pittsburgh!
The hunt starts in Point State Park. From there, we will send you on your way to find all of our puzzles that we have hidden throughout the city. Solve every puzzle to unlock the location of the buried treasure. Whoever makes it there first gets to unearth the $500 cash prize. Be sure to bring a shovel!

When/Where is it?
Our 2026 City Wide Scavenger hunt is on August 9, 2026. The hunt will start at 12pm at Point State Park. You should plan to arrive 15 to 30 minutes early to check in.
How much does it cost?
Tickets are $30 PER TEAM. This is a flat rate no matter how many people are on your team. Teams can be between 2 and 6 people. Teams MUST register through Eventbrite to participate.
How long is it?
At 12 PM we will send everyone off to start the hunt. From there it all depends on you! We expect the hunt to take about 2 hours, but it may go faster or slower. We will post on social media when the cash prize is claimed, but we will still keep the puzzles up for some time after so that more teams can officially finish.
Is there an age limit?
All ages are welcome! But keep in mind these puzzles are designed to stump adults, so younger teams may need some adult guidance. All minors should be accompanied by an adult during the hunt.
What should I bring?
- A Cell Phone – You will need a phone to complete the hunt. Specifically you will be using a Google Form.
- A Shovel – The treasure at the end will be buried. You have to dig to claim it! BYOS (Bring Your Own Shovel)
- A Car – Though not strictly necessary to complete the hunt, groups with a car will have an advantage. If you are going for the win, you’ll need a driver with you.
